4 Reasons I love Mondays

I love mondays

I have always been a motivated and inspired individual.  As I sit here writing this, I have decided, Sunday nights on social media can be depressing.   Usually this is an opportunity for people to mope and complain about the work week being under 12 hours away.  I use this time in a much more productive manner. I for one, love Mondays.  People look at me cross eyed when I make this statement.  Here is why I welcome Monday…

  • You control your own destiny– You control effort and attitude. Waking up with a crummy attitude and mindset all but assures you will have an unpleasant start to the week. Think positive. Be happy.
  • Hit the week running – I use my Sunday evenings to plan my week.  I get out my calendar/planner and start putting pen to paper. When I wake up on Monday morning I am ready to “hit the ground running,” while inching closer toward my goals. By 9:00 a.m. on Monday I feel productive.
  • Passion and Love For What I do-  I love what I do as a professional. I feel fortunate any day I have the opportunity to wake up and do what I love . (I work in High School and Youth Sports Full-Time, while building a Sports Business Development agency in my part-time.)  If you don’t feel this way, you are not living life to its fullest. What is your life purpose? Only you can answer that question.
  • Lucky- Look around you. Everyday you wake up is a great day.  My dad died at the age of 46. Life doesn’t last forever. Things can be much worse. Will you face adversity? Yes. Are there things causing you stress? Probably.  Stay in the moment and take each minute as they come.

I hope this helps you look at Monday from a different perspective.  How do you view Monday?
